How Camo Voting Works
The Camo Matrix was built to let YOU test camo patterns in different environments and vote on their effectiveness—without marketing fluff. Whether you're comparing gear on your own background photo or browsing community submissions, your feedback helps shape an honest view of which patterns actually work.
Two Ways to Vote
- Human Vision: Rate how well the camo blends from your own perspective.
- Deer Vision: Rate the effectiveness through simulated deer vision, helping you evaluate how a deer might see the pattern.
Where Voting Happens
- On every pattern page.
- Inside our interactive tools like MyBGTool and MyDVTool.
- While viewing Community Camo uploads from real hunters.
How Your Vote Is Stored
Votes are tracked using anonymous session IDs. You can only vote once per pattern/background combo per vision type per session. This helps keep things fair and prevents spam.
What Happens With the Votes?
- Your input helps build future features like “Top Voted Camo” rankings for different environments.
- Vote data is anonymous and never linked to personal accounts.
- Patterns will be ranked by average score for human and deer vision separately—and combined.
Want to Help More?
You can upload your own backgrounds or camo-wearing photos in the MyBackground section and allow others to vote too.
Your votes and uploads are what make Camo Matrix unique—thank you for being part of it.
