The Ambient Jacket was designed without a hood to help keep the overall garment weight down with this design the Ambient Jacket is only 18 oz (1 lb 2 oz) for a medium and packs even more warmth than the hoody style. The breathability provided by the PrimaLoft Evolve allows you to wear the hoody during hard hikes without worrying about wetting out the garment the hoody will dry out quickly without losing warmth for the user.
